More REC Portal Improvements Now Live!

The Code Manager is pleased to have implemented a further round of significant improvements across the REC Portal, focusing on high volume areas of traffic to ensure maximum stakeholder value. The changes deployed on 23 October 2024 are summarised below:

Change Proposal Pages

See more information about a REC Change Proposal at a single glance than ever before! Our Change Proposal Pages have been uplifted into the new style, and reviewed to ensure that all the critical information about a Change Proposal can be seen in one place. Navigate to the new look Change Proposal Pages by selecting any Change Proposal on the new Change Register.

Committees

Both the Committees Dashboard and individual Committee Workspaces have been overhauled to streamline information, make key documentation more easily accessible, and improve Portal performance. Take a look at how you can now find all the latest Committee news - like publications of agendas and minutes - directly on the Committees Dashboard!

New Organisational Dashboards

We've make some preparations for the launch of two new dashboards which will be made available to certain users with organisational performance assurance roles in the coming days. Relevant users will now see tiles for SMIS Dashboard and TDIS Dashboard on their organisation sites - keep an eye out for more comms coming soon in this area.

A Whole Host of More Improvements

As this is the final stage of a long project to completely overhaul user experience on the REC Portal, this release also incorporated minor improvements across a wide range of features and functions, including but in no way limited to:

• New guidance notes for those completing new Applications
• Making forms more prominent in the Annual Maintenance area of performance assurance sites
• Uplift of design across every single REC Portal page
• Steps to improve performance and loading times of certain Portal pages
